"I walk every morning” lived on my someday list for, like, ever. Then, without much fanfare at all, I started doing it. And somewhere along the way, I realized this wasn't really about walking. It was about a quiet, persistent thought I'd spent years talking myself out of—and the power in actually doing the thing.

God doesn't want you stuck. I said what I said. I don't mean that as a pep talk. I believe it’s a theological fact. We were created for fruitfulness, growth, and a life that is fully alive. So what do we do when life feels smaller than it used to—or when we realize we’ve been living on a dimmer switch? Maybe feeling stuck isn't proof that something is wrong with you. Maybe it's a signal worth paying attention to.

When Chronic Turns to Crisis… 😳 🌊

Sometimes the things that aren't working in our lives don't feel like a crisis. They've just been that way for so long that we've gotten used to them. We adjust. We accommodate. And somewhere along the way, the volume on our lives gets turned down a little. What happens when “chronic” quietly becomes “normal”—and why does it sometimes take a crisis before we're willing to change it?

Joseph and Mary didn't know the end of the Christmas story.

But their story is proof God knows the end from the beginning and has good plans for you.

We are heading into a new year, and that year will pass and we will look back on events and be living in realities we haven’t yet conceived of.

But just like Mary and Joseph—God knows. His promises hold true. And He will come through for us.
